Fabric Choices
Industrial Shadeports® Shade Material is woven from UV stabilized HDPE (high density polyethylene). The material contains minute pores to allow air to flow through, creating an air convection effect which reduces temperatures beneath by up to 32% compared to direct sunlight. The fabric blocks up to 96.7% of UV rays (equivalent to spf 30), is fade and mildew resistant and is stable between temperatures of 13°Fh & 176°Fh.
Unique to Industrial Shadeports®, Mermaid Fabric™ is a Water Repellant variation of our Shade Material. The fabric is designed to block out harmful UV rays, breath to reduce temperatures beneath, and also prevent rain from passing through. An excellent alternative to Vinyl, Mermaid Fabric™ is longer lasting, more durable, easier to remove & refit, cooler, fade and mildew resistant, and less expensive.
FERRARI® Fabric is made from PES (Polyethersulphone), a heat-resistant, transparent, shapeless material with excellent dimensional stability and longevity. The fabric surface is treated with PVDF (Polyvinylidenefluoride) to resist mold, mildew and stains. The fabric can be used to create highly dramatic structures.
Our Vinyl material is a Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) fabric enhanced with a unique finish to provide greater self cleaning & UV resistance. The material incorporates a polyester PVC (Polyvinylchloride) laminate to enhance resistance to water & mildew.
