Product Description

An Industrial Shadeport® Structure is a professionally engineered steel-crossed space frame with a strong, durable & easily removable, superimposed shade screen. The Shadeport® design concept is a time tested technology with a proven track record of over 20 years & is an affordable solution for creating comfort zones with shade & UV protection. All Industrial Shadeport® designs are engineered to meet all building standards & conform to the SFBC (South Florida building codes), SBCI (sustainable building & construction initiative) & ASCE 7-02 codes (minimum design requirements for soil, flood, wind, snow, rain, ice, earthquake loads & their combinations).

Frame

The Industrial Shadeport® frame consists of galvanized steel columns & braces, usually between 3" & 8" wide depending upon the size of the unit. The columns can be powder coated in a variety of colors to produce a uniform, durable, high-quality & attractive finish. The space frame is stable to 150 mph winds, is designed to support additional weight of 500 lbs, & comes with a 15 year warranty.*

Shade Fabric

Industrial Shadeports® fabric is woven from UV stabilized HDPE (high density polyethylene) & is available in a wide range of colors. The material contains minute pores to allow air to flow through, creating an air convection effect which reduces temperatures beneath by up to 32% compared to direct sunlight. The fabric blocks up to 96.7% of UV rays (equivalent to spf 30), is fade & mildew resistant, is stable between temperatures of 13°Fh & 176°Fh, withstands winds of up to 75 mph, has a 325 psi burst strength, & comes with a 10 year warranty.*
